You built the project plan. The budget tracker. The five-year strategy for someone else's mission is now complete.
When did you last build one for yourself?

Dear Reader,
Most of us were taught to build systems for everything except ourselves: deadlines, KPIs, and five-year plans for organisations, causes, and careers that were never ours to begin with. Meanwhile, the oldest system we were ever given got filed away as superstition or simply forgotten.
Better Tomorrow Systems exists to hold both halves at once. It is what happens when a social researcher and medical sociologist, who spent years building structures for other people's missions, stops ignoring the parts of herself that those structures couldn't reach.
Here, that shows up as two things: The Social Architect, a newsletter on development, change, and the social issues shaping how we live, and Better Tomorrow Products, the books, journals, and tools built from the same question. How do we build a life and a way of working that actually fits how we are made?

Founder - Better Tomorrow Systems
Most planners are built for perfect days by people who’ve never faced a real crisis. We forge ours in high-stakes fieldwork.
Built on a decade of real-world strategy, our products help you master your systems, align with your purpose, and thrive when life actually happens.

Better Tomorrow Systems is a Kenyan social enterprise.
We design, implement and evaluate community programmes in education, health and development across East Africa, including work on period poverty, menstrual stigma and mental health.
The same thinking is behind our newsletter, books and tools: systems that fit how people actually live and work.
Are you a professional shaping a proposal, a student working through a thesis, or an organisation moving from idea to impact?
We’ve spent a decade designing, implementing and evaluating community programmes across East Africa, so we know where good ideas break. Bring us the problem. We’ll help you find the weak point and the next step.
